THE COVER CREW ...

Chris Webb

Chris Webb  (Swansea)  something off a wondering minstrel(wondering if his original material would ever reach the ears of the listening public.

Like many of his friends started playing guitar in his teens joining local groups to take his hobby to the next level.

Began playing pop songs in a cabaret band around the social and workingmen’s clubs of South Wales, while developing  and crafting his skill for writing commercial style original material and co writing songs with Byron Baljak and the super front man Viv Morris  (Spiv) and eventually  putting together a project band "Sound Transfusion" SEE LINKS   in order to play the songs live.

Putting aside his passion for music and guitars, he developed a security company focusing on access control and electronic surveillance and later diversified into other fields.

After  converting his office and stores premises into a recording and rehearsal studio (Sound Surgery studio)  Chris was joined by Carl and Moggs to form The Cover Crew, playing covers by bands that have been major influences  for them all throughout their lives and now as a settled 4 piece band are having a final fling before the buzz of playing live is put to bed once and for all, and the moving of all that  equipment is a distance memory....
